My love affair with the Cairn Terrier began as an experiment to earn a single dog's championship, but instead it ended up as a fulfilling hobby and life passion. Although all the dogs I own and co-own are mostly show dogs, they are also our beloved pets. They live in our homes and share our lives. Many of the dogs have been bred and raised right here, others have been bought from some of the most experienced breeders in the world that have generously shared their coveted bloodlines with us. |

It is our goal that our dogs all have the same essential characteristics in common... ...that they all be functional, that is, capable working terriers, with correct breed type, sound movement, and temperaments that are easy to love and to live with. Training and exhibiting cairns has been a wonderful experience for me and I'm pleased to share some of my dog's and best memories with you. Welcome to Ashwood! |
