The daughter of a specialty winning sire and dam, we had great hopes for this girl... and she certainly did not disappoint us. Kylie (named after Australian signing sensation, Kylie Minogue) made her debut on Montgomery County weekend 2002, won her class at Hatboro at exactly six months old, and she stole a few hearts along the way. By the spring of 2003, Kylie was winning major after major and at 14 months old she won Best of Opposite Sex from the classes, over bitch specials at the Housatonic Cairn Terrier Specialty, with an entry of over 30 plus Cairn bitches. Kylie quickly wrapped up her Championship the next weekend taking a Group placement from the classes. In 2004, Kylie was BOB at the Detroit Cairn Specialty, the Great Western All-Terrier Specialty in Long Beach, and she was the first bitch to ever win the breed at the Housatonic Cairn Terrier Club Specialty. In 2005, she won 3 more Regional specialties and ended the year as the top ranked bitch for the second year in a row. In 2006, she made history winning 3 more regional specialties, BOB at Westminster, the AKC Eukanuba Classic, Hatboro, Devon, and the CTCA National Specialty at Montgomery County! No cairn bitch in the history of the breed has ever won so many specialties. |
